Here's something to think

Most 'ordinary/normal' (what's that?) people are decent,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], anyhow somewhat apathetic individuals, concerned only with the issues and directly affect them,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], alive their own mini lives of 'quiet desperation' amidst job and financial pressures. Still we somehow ambition to make a difference in the world (and want our lives to count fall butmething), but we don't understand WHAT to do and HOW to do it. Because we ordinarily underestimate our competence to make whichever difference and effect change for the better... in our own countries and in the world. And that namely why so numerous people do not even discipline the greatest prerogative they possess: the prerogative of the right to vote. World history rests above the myriad of seemingly meaningless decisions (or absence of determination) of millions of "the little people" throughout the world. Would world history have changed if more people had voted in the US referenda of 2000? Would Iraq,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the Middle East in general and the world immediately maybe be a distant safer location?
I deem to effect alteration, we the ordinary folk of the world, have to raise the bar of what we will and will not stomach - at our leaders and authorities. At a regional level,
a citizen level and at worldwide level, as common citizens
of planet earth with a shared morale of humanity (hopefully magnificent and generous).
We absence ACCOUNTABILITY and it always starts at a private level - in our ideas with what we will and not accept as our highest standards in our OWN HEARTS. Things change only when a mass of people, combine together to take behavior in a mingled initive for the common nice, a worthwhile cause to make for a better world. In so doing in "democratic societies" they can put cumbersome pressure on their leaders, the decision makers to take forcible and right actions. We need a shift in MINDSET of world leaders - a fashionable path of looking at the immense problems of the world.
ONE VOTE kept Aaron Burr--later charged with treason--from becoming President. (1800)
ONE VOTE made Texas portion of the United States. (1845)
ONE VOTE made Adolf Hitler head of the Nazi Party. (1923)
I think it was Albert Einstein who said something like:
"The greatest problems of this earth tin only be solved with a alter class of meditative to namely which built them. Jesus Christ's information approximately painting above a Higher Level of Consciousness (alternatively calculated stamina) was the question apt and those sapient words regarding the person condition were uttered 2000 years antecedent - timeless and perpetual tr
ONE VOTE saved President Andrew Johnson from impeachment. (1868)
ONE VOTE elected Rutherford B. Hayes to the Presidency, and the male in the Electoral College who hurl that vote was an Indiana Representative too elected by ONE VOTE. (1876)
ONE VOTE changed France from a majesty to a republic. (1875)
ONE VOTE elected Marcus Morton ruler of Massachusetts. (1839)
THE POWER OF PEOPLE TO EFFECT CHANGE:
THE POWER OF ONE
